Our leadership focuses on learning, ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education.
The Head of School is responsible for managing the daily operations of the school, leading the educational administration by example through the constitution of the Western Academy of Beijing. Leadership at WAB is overseen by the all-volunteer WAB Board of Trustees.

WAB’s 2025-26 school year was filled with joyful, student-led learning, from AI projects and Minecraft builds to service, arts, and cultural experiences across all grade levels, reminding us what’s possible when curiosity and purpose drive education.
