Welcome Back, WABbies!

We have welcomed over 230 new students to campus this week, and the excitement for the 2025–2026 school year is tangible! Our students are already engaging in learning that is joyful, challenging and filled with opportunities for growth, creativity, and impact. 

At WAB, our diverse community celebrates the individuality of each student while fostering a sense of belonging. This year, our learning will continue to be guided by three key ideas: inclusion, sustainability and global citizenship. Underpinning all of these is our commitment to innovation and future readiness, ensuring that our students develop the skills and the knowledge that prepares them for whatever comes next. 

For us, being future-ready means more than using new technologies. It’s about learning to think critically, act ethically, and adapt with confidence. It’s exploring the possibilities of AI, designing solutions for a greener planet, or learning to better collaborate with empathy and purpose. 

And there’s more excitement ahead! In next week’s news, we’ll showcase some of our newly renovated learning spaces, designed to spark curiosity and support deeper engagement. 

As we begin this new school year, we look forward to the learning, growing, and connecting that lies ahead. Together with students, families, and staff, we’ll keep building a community where learning is both challenging and joyful and where everyone feels they belong.
