Celebrating Early University Acceptances, A World of Pathways for the Class of 2026!

We are delighted to share the first wave of early university acceptances for the Class of 2026, marking an exciting milestone in our students’ journeys beyond WAB. As offers begin to arrive, they reflect not only academic success, but the wide range of interests, aspirations, and future pathways represented within this graduating class.
“It is incredibly rewarding to see the breadth of university pathways our students are choosing. These global acceptances reflect the diversity of our student body, in interests, aspirations, and ways of learning. There is no single definition of success at WAB, and this year’s results are a powerful reminder of that.” — Jaime Pustis, High School Principal
So far, students have received offers from universities across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, underscoring the truly international nature of WAB’s community. From the United States and Canada to the United Kingdom, Europe, China, and Australia, our graduates are exploring opportunities around the world.
Just as striking is the diversity of academic programs represented. Early acceptances span fields such as law and politics, international relations, nutrition and health sciences, psychology and neuroscience, business, design and digital media, environmental and sustainability studies, sport and exercise science, chemistry and pharmacology, English and classics, and creative arts. These varied choices highlight how students are pursuing pathways aligned with their individual passions and strengths.

For many students, the process has been both exciting and reflective.
“I’ve been accepted to the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester, my top two schools,” shares Chloe. “I’m incredibly grateful and more than excited to begin a new journey in a country I’ll be seeing for the first time. I have the counselors at WAB to thank for their constant support, valuable essay feedback, and for celebrating my wins with me along the way.”
Others are weighing very different possibilities across continents.
“I’ve been accepted to IE University in Madrid and Hawaii Pacific University,” says Cali. “Both opportunities offer exciting options for my next phase of life, in terms of studies, community, and location. I’m incredibly grateful for the guidance and encouragement I received throughout what can be a heavy and stressful process from my counselor Ms. Archbold.”

For students navigating early decision pathways, support and guidance is key.
“So far, I’ve been accepted into one of the five universities I applied to. Throughout the application process, there were some hiccups with technology-related mistakes, but WAB’s counsellors were able to help me get into contact with admissions at the university and solve the problem, which I am incredibly grateful for,” shares Zoe.
“The Early Decision process comes with a lot of uncertainty, especially when you might be bound to spend the next 4 years there. Choosing Northwestern wasn’t just about academics, but also community and location,” shares Chris. “My counselors supported me throughout the research and application stages, helping me feel confident in my decision.”

This is just the beginning. As more offers arrive in the months ahead, we look forward to continuing to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026 and the many unique paths they are forging into the future.
Stay tuned for more updates and join us in congratulating our students on this exciting next chapter.
