Congratulations to the WAB Class of 2026!
WAB is proud to celebrate the Class of 2026 as they reach the end of their WAB journey and step into their next chapter. Recently, our graduates have taken part in a series of meaningful traditions: the Confucius Temple Confirmation Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony and Dinner, and currently, they are on their Senior Trip.
The unique Confucius Temple Confirmation Ceremony connected their futures with the wisdom of the past. While the Graduation Ceremony and Dinner brought families, friends and teachers together to honor the achievements, resilience, and growth of this year’s graduates.

Best‑fit pathways around the world
This year’s graduates are once again heading to an impressive range of universities, programs and countries. Reflecting the 23 nationalities represented in the Class of 2026, their university acceptances and destinations highlight both the cultural diversity of our students and the many “best‑fit” paths they are choosing. Across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, students are making thoughtful choices shaped by their interests, identities, goals, and connections to different parts of the world. Together, they are pursuing futures in design, international relations, business, computer science, environmental studies and many other fields, illustrating how WAB students take what they’ve learned here and apply it in diverse contexts all around the world.

For many students, these next steps carry deep personal meaning:
-
Aiden Z has been accepted to Carnegie Mellon University (School of Computer Science), University of Pennsylvania (School of Engineering and Applied Science) and Duke University, and has committed to CMU. He is “looking forward to challenging myself in the more academically rigorous environment of CMU,” and notes that WAB has prepared him “socially: the diversity at this school has enabled me to learn to interact with a wide variety of individuals, teaching me how to understand and join any community I find myself in.”
-
Chris L will attend Northwestern University to study environmental policy and plans to pursue a second major in economics or data science. He explains that WAB helped: “expand my skills and network across a variety of fields through opportunities such as clubs, the sustainability steering committee, and APAC.” These experiences allowed him “to step outside my comfort zone and work with people from diverse backgrounds.”
-
Aoife H has been accepted to Corvinus University of Budapest to study International Relations. She is “excited to begin a new chapter in such an internationally focused and dynamic environment,” and describes feeling “a mix of nerves and excitement, but mostly gratitude.” Aoife credits WAB’s counselors and teachers for being “always there to answer my questions with a smile” and for helping her see opportunities she hadn’t considered.
-
Vivian Y received offers from several leading design programs, including UCL, UAL, Goldsmiths, Kingston and Warwick in the UK, as well as PolyU in Hong Kong. She shares that she is “really nervous about university life and study, but excited about living on my own, learning new culture and meet different people.” Vivian notes that since Grade 11, WAB has prepared students step‑by‑step for applications: “From choosing schools to how to provide materials, everything that might happen has been thought out in advance for us. So when I applied for university, it went very smoothly.”
-
Cali F has been accepted to IE University in Madrid and Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu. At IE she would study International Relations and Business; at Hawaii Pacific she has the opportunity to design a dual degree combining environmental studies and education as part of the residential honours program. Cali says both options “offer exciting possibilities for my next phase of life, in terms of studies, community, and location.” She loved the “lively nature” of Madrid and the historic Segovia campus and is equally drawn to Hawaii’s island lifestyle and campus community. She highlights how her counselor, Ms. Archbold, “has been a huge help… as this process can be quite heavy and stressful,” and has helped her focus on what she is genuinely excited about in each university.
-
Berat A reflects on how his HL Business Management and Economics, together with two years of leading the ProFarmer service initiative, positioned him strongly for International Business programs at University of Nottingham Ningbo China and Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University, where he will also continue learning Chinese and earn a degree from their UK partner. “WAB has given me an incredible foundation,” he shares. “The counselors at WAB have helped us throughout every step of the application process. I couldn’t ask for better people to have guided me… I am grateful for everything that WAB has given to me.”

Celebrating a community effort
Together, these stories show how the Class of 2026 has benefited from WAB’s commitment to best‑fit guidance and personalized support. From counsellors who walk students through applications step‑by‑step, to teachers who teach and encourage, to experiences at WAB, like arts and athletics, and service learning that build real‑world skills, our graduates leave WAB equipped to flourish in new academic and cultural environments around the globe.
To the Class of 2026: congratulations on all you have achieved. We are incredibly proud of who you are, where you are going, and the positive impact you will make in the many communities you will soon call home.
