Celebrating the IB Results of WAB’s Class of 2025!

The Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) is proud to announce the impressive results of the Class of 2025 in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Once again, our graduates have shown that excellence, creativity, and resilience are hallmarks of a WAB education. 

Results at a Glance 

At WAB, the IB Diploma Programme is open to all students. Our teachers are dedicated to guiding each learner on their individual path, challenging them to achieve their personal best, while providing the care and support needed to succeed. These results reflect the hard work of students and teachers, and the strength of a learning community that values curiosity, well-being, and global citizenship.

More Than Numbers 

Behind every result is a personal story of discovery and growth. 

Jeremy, accepted to the University of Oxford, shared: 
“Choosing History as a Higher Level subject opened a new area of profound academic interest… Studying History and Politics will synthesize the defining ideas of the past, present, and future to broaden my intercultural understanding.” 

Nicole, pursuing Biomedical Sciences, said: 
“It’s been a dream of mine to become a doctor. I’m forever grateful for the support of everyone at WAB, especially my counselors and science teachers.” 

Juria, heading to Tufts’ School of the Museum of Fine Arts, reflected: 
“The supportive environment at WAB helped me push boundaries in creating art and developing my interests.” 

These voices show what makes the IB at WAB unique: a program that challenges students academically while also nurturing their passions, purpose, and personal growth. 

Looking Ahead 

The Class of 2025 graduates are heading to leading universities worldwide, from Oxford and Columbia to USC, Brown, and top art, science, and technology programs. They leave WAB not only with outstanding results but also with the values of inclusion, sustainability, and global citizenship that will guide their impact on the world.
