Celebrating Excellence: WAB Wins Innovation Award and Shortlisted for Pastoral Care Award

WAB is thrilled to announce that we have once again been recognized for our commitment to innovation and excellence in education. This year, we retained our No. 1 position in the KingLead 2026 China International School Innovative Competitiveness Ranking, marking the sixth consecutive year that WAB has led this national ranking. KingLead is a renowned platform in the international education community, known for its evaluation of international schools in China. The rankings combine field research, interviews with school leaders, expert assessments, and quantitative data to highlight schools that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainable development, and high-quality education. 

WAB’s approach to learning emphasizes innovation and the development of adaptable, globally minded, future-ready students. This recognition is a testament of our dedication to equipping students with the skills, tools, and mindset they need to thrive in a rapidly changing, technology-driven world.

In addition to this recognition, WAB has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2026 China Schools Awards in the Pastoral Care category. Out of more than 100 applications from schools across China, our submission was selected as one of the top three, reflecting the strength of our student wellbeing programs and the supportive community we cultivate.  Being shortlisted alongside other outstanding schools is a tremendous honor, and we are proud that our pastoral care programs are being recognized at this level.
