Alumni Profile: Oliver Neoh

As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations, we proudly present a new Alumni Profile series. Featuring 30 profiles from alumni across the world and across the years, this collection showcases their stories as they came to WAB and beyond.
Years have you studied at WAB?
2008-2010
What brought your family to WAB/Beijing?
Our family moved to Beijing as a result of my father's role in the financial industry in the region, and also for us as kids to have the opportunity to gain international exposure and experience living in China at a young age. I spent 3 formative years in Beijing, and my younger brother (Christian) was fortunate to be at WAB for 10 years!
Where are you located now?
Sydney, Australia.
What are you doing now?
Investor relations within the global real estate sector.
What's your fondest memory of WAB?
School camps and history study tours (provinces in China / Vietnam) - being able to visit and discover exciting places rich in culture and history within the region in person. Literally a case of the classroom coming to life!
Please share a story about how you are still making a difference today.
I'm still meeting and working with people from all around the world in my day-to-day role in institutional capital fundraising and helping investors allocate their capital into the best opportunities for their current members/representatives and future generations. It's incredible how important it is to be culturally aware and astute when working in an international-focused environment, and I definitely attribute the strong foundations being built from WAB during my high school years!
