Tuition Support for Self-Paying Families

(Effective 2026-27 School Year)

WAB offers a range of tuition support programs designed to support families who are self-paying their children’s education at different stages of their journey with the school.

This page provides an overview of:

  • Family Tuition Support (for larger families), and
  • Early Years Tuition Support (for younger children entering the school).

Some families may qualify for both programs across different children, but cannot not combine them for the same child.

  1. What tuition support options are available?

WAB currently offers two options for eligible families:

A. Family Tuition Support

Designed to support families with multiple children enrolled at WAB:

  • 20% tuition adjustment for the third child, and
  • The same adjustment for each additional child beyond the third.

B. Early Years Tuition Support

Designed to support entry into WAB for younger children:

  • 50% tuition adjustment for eligible Early Years students,
  • Available where the child has a full fee-paying sibling enrolled at WAB.
  1. Can families be eligible for both programs?

Yes.

Families may be eligible for both Family and Early Years Tuition Support programs, provided they meet the criteria for each.

  • Each program is applied individually to the relevant child,

  • The benefits are not combined on a single child, but may apply across different children within the same family.

  1. Who is eligible?

To be eligible for either program, families must:

  • Be self-paying, meaning:

No employer sponsorship, reimbursement, or education allowance is provided for tuition (either partially or fully).

In addition:

  • Family Tuition Support requires three or more children enrolled concurrently at WAB.

  • Early Years Support requires an Early Years student with a full fee-paying sibling at WAB.

  1. Can families receiving employer tuition support apply?

No.

These supports are available only to families who are self-paying for their children’s education. Families receiving employer-sponsored tuition support (full or partial) are not eligible.

  1. How are the tuition adjustments applied?

Tuition support is applied based on each child’s eligibility:

  • The third child (and subsequent children) may receive:
20% tuition adjustment under Family Tuition Support

  • An eligible Early Years child may receive:
⇒ 50% tuition adjustment under Early Years Support

The school will confirm how each adjustment applies based on family enrollment records to ensure consistency.

  1. Can one child receive both types of support?

No.

Each support applies to a specific child based on eligibility criteria and cannot be combined for the same child.

  1. What documentation is required?

Families will be asked to provide:

  • A completed application form (or confirmation process), and

  • Supporting documentation confirming self-funded status.

If a family requests official tuition receipts (fapiao) issued under a company name, they must also provide:

  • An official stamped letter from their employer confirming that no tuition support or education allowance is provided.

  1. Why is an employer letter required in some cases?

This requirement ensures:

  • Fair and consistent application of tuition support,

  • That support is directed to families who are fully self-funding.

  1. How long do these supports apply?

Family Tuition Support applies while eligibility conditions are met (e.g. number of enrolled children).

Early Years Support is offered as a pilot program, and may apply for a limited duration depending on the child’s entry point.

Details will be confirmed at the time of application.

  1. Does eligibility need to be reconfirmed each year?

Yes.

To ensure fairness and consistency, families may be asked to reconfirm their eligibility annually, including their self-funded status.

  1. How do we apply?

Families who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to:

  • Contact the Admissions Office (admissions@wab.edu) or Finance Office (invoice@wab.edu).

  • Submit an application through the school’s designated process (details will be provided upon inquiry).

  1. When will the tuition adjustment be applied?

  • Once eligibility and documentation are confirmed, the adjustment will be reflected in tuition billing for the applicable school year.

  • Families may be asked to apply or confirm eligibility within a defined annual timeline.

  1. Who can I contact for more information?

  • Admissions Officeadmissions@wab.edu - for eligibility and program guidance.

  • Finance Office: invoice@wab.edu - for tuition adjustment, billing and documentation.
