Submit an enquiry and chat with our admissions team 

• Our OpenApply enquiry form is how your family introduces themselves to us.  
• To make the process more convenient, all inquiries are completed and submitted online. By creating an online account, your family can return to the inquiry and begin your application anytime.  

Start your application in OpenApply 

• An OpenApply application form is required for each child.
• All the necessary supporting documents will be available during the online application process. 
• Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. 

Admissions review 

To gain a better understanding of your child, we request several supporting documents to be submitted as part of their application. Once submitted, the Admissions team reviews all relevant documents, including:  

• School reports 
• Passport copies 
• Student and parent statements 
• Any supporting documents 
• A confidential reference from a teacher  

Interview or Assessment

Once we receive your online application and all supporting documents, our Admissions Team will determine if any assessments or interviews are required. During this process, we will check: 

• If WAB is a good fit for your family and your child's learning needs. 
• Students from JG1 onwards will have a language assessment if they are not native English speakers. This is to ensure that your child gets the language support they need at WAB. 
• Students in Grade 10 and above will be assessed for Math placement. 

Admissions Decision  

• Upon completing the above steps, our Admissions Committee made up of school section leadership and support teams, will review the entire application and determine if the grade level applied to has the availability and capacity to support your child.  
• Families will be notified of the admissions decision through an OpenApply email notification.
