WAB Named China's Most Innovative International School for Fourth Time

WAB has been named China's most innovative international school for the fourth consecutive time by KingLead, a prestigious school-ranking organization for international education in China.

Released on February 29, the ranking is part of KingLead's China International School Innovation Competitiveness Top 100. Jointly built by scholars and alumni from Ivy Leagues and Oxbridge, KingLead is a professional international education resource and service platform.

After KingLead's extensive research and analysis of international schools in Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, and other cities in China, WAB was again recognized as the top innovative school among Schools for Children of Foreign Nationals.

The candidate schools for the Top 100 ranking include private international schools and schools for children of foreign nationals in China. Each year, the competitive ranking is composed of the top 50 schools for each category.

"Being recognized again as a leading innovative school is a powerful testament to our unwavering commitment to deeply explore and continuously improve learning across WAB," stated Dr. Marta Medved Krajnovic, Head of School at WAB. She continued,  "Drawing upon the expertise and commitment of our teachers, staff, and learning leaders as well as the latest research in the fields of education, psychology, and cognitive science, we consistently strive to create impactful and joyful learning experiences. Innovation in learning and teaching at WAB is not an isolated effort by a few, for a few -  it defines who we are and positively influences all WAB students, parents, and employees. We're proud to be acknowledged for our innovative energy."

The evaluation criteria for this ranking include certification competitiveness (20%), faculty competitiveness (20%), social influence (10%), and experts' assessment (50%). To achieve the highest rating of "5A," schools must meet requirements such as being certified by mainstream exam committees and international certification organizations.

KingLead China International School Innovative Competitiveness Top 100 rates schools' innovative competitiveness based on a comprehensive consideration of the evaluation factors. The top 1-10 schools are rated as "5A", the top 11-30 are rated as "4A", the top 31-100 are rated as "3A". WAB came out strong in all evaluation areas.
