WAB's HUB Link has been recognized at the ICONIC Awards 2023 in the Multifunctional Space category.
Designed by Erica Borsa and Karen Hepp from anyScale, HUB Link was transformed into a versatile space that caters to a range of activities such as group learning, individual study, relaxation during break times, dining, and socializing. From an aesthetic standpoint, the inclusion of spiral staircases and a semi-transparent trampoline enhances the connectivity and communication between the two floors.
The design of the HUB Link aligns well with WAB's learner-centered education and our mission to Connect and Inspire.
"Our goal was to transform the Link into a student-oriented multipurpose space that would also connect our buildings in an inspiring way and bring the beautiful outdoors into the building," expressed Michael Christiansen, the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at WAB. He further added, "We are proud to have received the award and to see that our students have fully embraced space."
