Bespoke, customizable diploma programs are popping up at innovative schools around the world. Students are turning to them for increased freedom and flexibility to dive deeply into an area of interest they choose.

At WAB, this pathway to graduation is called the Capstone Program. On Episode 23 of The WAB Podcast, we speak with WAB Grade 12 student Xavier Langlands and WAB alumna Julie Noens about how the program impacted their pursuit of expertise, as well as their pathways toward a university degree and career. We're also joined by WAB's Capstone Coordinator Brian McEwen.

"I knew quite early on what I wanted to focus on in terms of my professional career," Julie said in the interview. "I felt the same way in terms of creating a curriculum that best matched my interests."
