Grade 12 Week: Team Building and Preparation for Life after High School

Looking ahead to graduation, our oldest students took part in one of WAB's favorite traditions: Grade 12 Week. Each year, students take part in a wide variety of activities focused on team-building, preparation for university, and acquiring skills for success in life after graduation. Throughout the week, the students:

  • had sessions with a nutritionist and sports physiologist to learn about staying healthy at university
  • took part in workshops covering healthy cooking, emergency planning, meditative breathing, designing fitness programs, and self-defense
  • learned about creating an effective and distinguished CV
  • worked on university applications
  • practiced video-editing skills
  • competed in a team scavenger hunt around Beijing
  • took on a climbing wall and played laser tag at an outdoor camp
  • and participated in many more activities.

It was a great way for them to build unity and make memories before graduating from WAB, as well as learn practical skills that will contribute to their success in the coming months and years.
